COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS FOR INDUSTRIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL SAFETY DURING DESIGNING LARGE-SCALE BLASTS ON KUZBASS SURFACE MINES

With the development of open-pit mining, carrying out large-scale blasts is accompanied by harmful impacts, which include: a shock air wave, rock pieces scattering, poisonous gases of explosive transformation, dust formation, seismic impact on surrounding objects. These impacts are negative, so drilling and blasting operations at the design stage must be accompanied by industrial safety maintenance with the minimum ecological impact on the environment.

Key words: NEGATIVE IMPACTS OF MASS EXPLOSIONS, SEISMIC IMPACT, OPEN METHOD OF COAL MINING, DRILLING AND BLASTING OPERATIONS, BOREHOLE CHARGE, EXPLOSIVES
