DETERMINATION OF DUST-GAS-AIR MIXTURE PRESSURE BEHIND THE SHOCK WAVE FRONT WITH DIFFERENT ADIABATIC INDEXES ON THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE FRONT

The number of negative factors that significantly reduces labor safety in underground mining becomes more frequent due to a further mining intensification increase. One of these factors is rock bursts, coal and gas outbursts, gas emissions and various gas-dynamic processes. Other factors are dust-gas-air mixtures capable of chemical reactions and self-heating centers leading to a change in the temperature field of rocks and mine workings atmosphere, which significantly increases the possibility of ignition and burning of DUST -gas-air mixtures. The article discusses the gas-dynamic and thermophysical conditions for the shock waves occurrence in dust-gas-air mixtures moving in the atmosphere of mine workings. The formula, based on fundamental laws of conservation, was obtained. The formula is characterizing the pressure change in dust-gas-air mixtures behind the shock wave, provided that the Poisson adiabatic indicators on opposite front sides are different. The graphs of pressure versus various mixtures of parameters and some pressure change detected regularities in dust-gas-air mixtures behind the shock wave in openings are given.
