COMPREHENSIVE MEASURES FOR SAFETY BLUSTING DURUNG OPEN-PIT MINING
Massive blasting works during open pit mining come with many negative impact, such as air shock waves, seismic impact, flyrocks etc. In order to reduce the negative impact of these factors on the environment it is proposed to implement the following: disperse blasthole charge during blasting for the rock loosening with cutting depth of 15 meters and more, pre-contouring of exploded blocks, popholing, mechanized hole tamping, use of means of initiation Iskra-T.
