METHOD OF INSTANT CONTROL OF AIR FLOWS AND AERODYNAMIC PRESSURES IN THE MINE WORKINGS SYSTEM OF COAL MINES
The necessity of the development and implementation of methods for the instant management of air distribution and aerodynamic pressure in mine workings system is given.
At the present, as the new types of mining equipment have been implemented, both coal and drivage faces productivity has increased tenfold. The mining operations intensity is accompanied by the constantly changing topology of mine ventilation systems. The well-timed appropriate measures to ensure proper ventilation of underground mine workings in the context of the ongoing destabilization of air flow are required.
The solution could be based on applying the positive and negative regulation methods of air flows in the mine workings system. At present, the practical implementation of the positive air flow regulation method is impossible, since it is limited by the current regulations to use underground fans only to ventilate drivage faces in coal, dangerous of methane gases mines, which are the vast majority. It is prohibited to include these fans to the main ventilation systems.
Taking into account the current situation, the negative regulation method of the air quantity and aerodynamic pressure distribution, using the regulators, in the mine ventilation systems is proposed and the calculation method of their placement in the mine workings is given.
