MINING EXPLORATION AS A METHOD TO INCREASE THE INDUSTRIAL SAFETY LEVEL IN COAL MINING
The advanced exploration of mineral resources is considered to reduce the risk of accident initiation and incidents connected with natural geological factors impact. It is proposed to specify the contents of the subsections of the design documentation «State of Geological Exploration» and «Mining Exploration» based on the analysis of the results obtained during the application of the coal deposits exploration quantitative method. The responsibility of minerals developers for ignoring the state requirements for mineral resources exploration should be taken into account when investigating the causes of accidents and incidents. The mining exploration should be considered as preventive measures aimed to increase the industrial safety level during coal mining.
