ENDOGENOUS FIRE SAFETY IN KUZBASS COAL ENTERPRISES

The article presents the analysis of the application of the main existing methods for detecting endogenous fires in workings: the gas analytical method and the gas measuring. A new method of detecting endogenous fires is described. This method is developed by JSC «NC VostNII» and Trofimuk Institute of Petroleum Geology and Geophysics, Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. This geophysical method is based on the use of mine electrical prospecting and allows determining the fire location with high accuracy.
