PROPERTIES OF THE COAL SEAM AS A WAVEGUIDE WHEN OPEN–UNDERGROUND MINING OF COAL AND THE STABILITY OF DEVELOPMENT WORKINGS DURING MASS INDUSTRIAL EXPLOSIONS

In this article provides data on the waveguide properties of a coal array with full internal reflection of seismic waves from industrial explosions at the boundary line of a coal seam and adjacent strata. The question of the stability of preparatory works located near scene of blast. It is shown that to ensure the sustainability of the workings, if the wavelength is smaller than the size of the working, it is necessary to apply its additional fastening even at large deceleration times in a series of explosions.
