THE SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM OF IN–SEAM WORKING AREAS ABUTMENT PRESSURE PARAMETERS DETERMINATION BASED ON THE SIMULATION EXPERIMENT

The geomechanical condition of coal-rock massif, bedding rock with in-seam working problem solution results are presented. The bedding rock strength exceeds the seam strength. The diagram of the seam conditional stresses corresponds to the Prandtl diagram with parallel to the abscissa axis material's ultimate deformation section.
In the reviewed boundary value problem, the rock massif operates under conditions of a flat deformed state, and the seam zones located in the walls of the mine opening are in an extremely strained state. The problem is solved by the boundary element methods.
Based on the conducted studies results, graphs of changes of stress concentration coefficient and the extremely strained state of the seam zone, depending on the opening span.
Coal-rock massif before mine opening is pressed by equicomponent (hydrostatical) stress field. It is shown, that with the opening span increasing the intensity of abutment pressure parameters growth decreases.

Key words: ROCK MASSIF, COAL SEAM, MINING, EXTREMELY STRESSED STATE, THEORY OF COULOMB-MORA STRENGTH
